Terms of service

1. The service

syted researches keywords for your business, writes one article per day, and publishes it on your own domain through the @syted/next package or our read API. Articles are generated from the editorial profile you set up: what you sell, who buys it, the facts we may state, and the tone you want.

2. Price and billing

One subscription covers one blog. The price is $99 per month, per blog, billed monthly through Whop, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to Whop and never touch our servers.

3. Free trial

The free trial lasts 7 days and requires a card. Your card is charged on day seven unless you cancel first. If you cancel during the trial, the service keeps running until the trial ends and no charge is taken — you lose nothing by cancelling early.

4. Cancellation

Cancellation is self-service: it is one click in the dashboard, under Settings. No call, no email, no retention offer. When you cancel, no further articles are written and the API stops serving your existing articles, so they disappear from your site. We do not provide an export of generated articles after cancellation — we say this here because it is the trade for the price, and we would rather you read it before subscribing than discover it after.

5. Your content and ownership

You own the articles published on your domain. syted claims no intellectual property rights over them. What you entered during setup — your product facts, audience, tone — remains yours as well.

6. Your responsibilities

Articles are generated from facts you supply. syted states no fact about your product that you have not entered yourself. The articles are published on your domain, under your name, so you are responsible for reviewing what appears there and for the accuracy of the facts you gave us.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use syted to publish:

• illegal content, or content promoting illegal activity
• content that impersonates another person, brand or organisation
• content you have no right to publish, including on a domain you do not control

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules, after notifying you unless the breach makes that impossible.

8. No ranking guarantees

We guarantee no search ranking, no traffic level, and no citation by any answer engine. Search results depend on Google, not on us; the same is true of ChatGPT, Perplexity and every other assistant. We measure these outcomes and show them to you honestly, but nobody can promise them, and we will not.

9. Third-party services

Connecting Google Search Console is optional, read-only, and revocable at any time; how we handle that data is described in our privacy policy. Payments are subject to Whop’s own terms in addition to these.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, syted’s total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and syted is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost traffic or lost rankings. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days’ notice by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that date, the new terms apply; if you disagree with them, cancel before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the competent French courts.
